We are inviting applications for positions of: Chief Economist and Deputy Director/Head of Strategic Communications.

Chief Economist - the Chief Economist will shape and lead economic analysis across key research areas including initially small business finance and regulation, industry and innovation policy, climate and energy, education reform, and the future of work.
- Key traits: experience in macroeconomic policy; strong quantitative skill set (familiarity with modelling and data analytics essential, coding experience in R/python an advantage); excellent verbal/written communication skills; collaborative; broad understanding of government and policy processes including service delivery, commissioning and procurement; an appreciation of the political dimension to policy development.
Deputy Director/Head of Strategic Communications - the Deputy Director/Head of Strategic Communications will be primarily responsible for leading Blueprint’s strategic communications across digital and print media and manage relationships with a broad network of supporters, partners and collaborators. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of organisational strategy and general operations.
- Key traits: experience overseeing communications strategy, excellent verbal/written communications skills, highly diligent and organised.
Both roles are preferably based in Sydney, but we will consider applicants for the Chief Economist role who are based in Canberra. Renumeration will be determined based on the experience of the selected candidate. We look forward to receiving your applications.
