Zach is completing his honours year of a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics at the University of Queensland with a major in economics. His thesis investigates the causal impact of antenatal alcohol consumption on child health outcomes, while correcting for misreporting. Zach has research experience in criminology and health economics with a focus on applying econometric methods. He tutors in econometrics and microeconomics at UQ. He has created a novel data set of Australian Home Care Package providers which has resulted in published research. Zach has also led teams of student consultants working with community groups and not-for-profits and co-managed the UQ Student Managed Investment Fund.
